TEACHING
My teaching philosophy hinges upon building and fostering intellectual curiosity grounded in individual passions and intrigue, as well as, to build practical skills through learning-by-doing.
I refer to my students as PILPs (Partners in the Learning Process). Expressing this early and often, I have found, makes students more comfortable participating in class and leads to more creative scholarship. The overall goal being to create an empowering and collaborative work environment that encourages participation and is inclusive of all ideas and voices.
